Oh the joys of the changes when you get married...

Well, I have been working on getting everything changed (i.e. my Social Security card, drivers license, etc). Why couldn't I have been born a boy??!?!? They don't have to change anything except which box they check next to their name to state whether they are married or single... lucky SOB's!

I went to the Social Security Administration yesterday. I signed in and got number 85. Not too long after, they called number 78... okay - not too bad considering the number of people that were in the lobby. Well, shortly after that, they called A101... what?!? Apparently you can make appointments. They had windows A, B, and D open - Window A was calling the numbers that had appointments (A###) and D was calling regular numbers and it seemed that B was alternating between the 2. After about 45 minutes, they were finally on 81. I had to get back to work as I was just on my lunch so I called and asked if I could wait there. Michelle said yes (thankfully - I didn't want to waste the time I had already waited and leave!) And then... Window B closed. Are you FREAKING kidding me???? And then... Window D started calling A###'s. SERIOUSLY!?! Thankfully, window C opened after about 10 minutes and it was fairly quick after that. I was THIS close to keeping my last name Mazeika!!

Today I went up to get my new Drivers License. That wasn't too bad - only took about 10 minutes total (thank you!!) They didn't need my new Social Security Card like some people have said. I had them take a new picture and it was much cuter than the last one! ha ha...

Now, I just have to wait to get my new social security card so I can change my name with my employer... funny I can change my government issued ID, get new credit cards, a new social security card... but my employer can't change it with one of those! lol... I love the world sometimes!

I'm married!!!

On 06/20/2009, we did it... we tied the knot!!

The wedding was great! It rained which was a bummer because I wanted an outside wedding and the outside grounds at the Victorian are just so beautiful, but I was prepared for rain so it wasn't too big a surprise and/or disappointment. Everything turned out so beautifully and went close to perfect! Thank you to all who came and supported us and the start of new journey together! I will post some pictures soon!

Catching up...

I know this picture is old, but I just came across it and think it is so funny! My dad apparently is the only sane one in the family... that's what he gets for having all girls!! (Christmas 2008)

Dave and mine's first trip... we went to Disnleyland in California! This is also where we got engaged so it was a BIG trip! We had SOOOO much fun and never wanted to come back!!

Picture of Dave and I at sunset on the beach, right after he proposed! It was so romantic!

Our new little family... with one on the way :)

First Doctor Appointment!!

Well, we had our first doctor appointment today - I have a cute little "peanut!" Everything went really well, the baby is developing well and looks healthy so far! There was one problem - we did find out I WAS pregnant with twins (I just KNEW it!!) but one didn't make it and died at what looks like around 4 weeks. I'm a little sad about it, but I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason and that there was some reason that cute little critter wasn't supposed to be here right now.

The pictures of my baby were so cute! I found out I will have an ultrasound every appointment and they also record the unltrasound on a dvd and will continue to burn chapters into the same disc with each appointment. I am WAY excited about that!! My baby wiggled around a lot on the video and it was so cute! The hips were going and it was just the sweetest thing I have ever seen! The heart was beating and I was able to see the spinal column. I won't get to hear the heart beat until next time, but that is something exciting to look forward to!!
